Let's analyze seriously this topic, I want to understand something.

It is said that the canonic version of resident evil 1 is jill's one, with barry, since in re3 nemesis he rescues her, he actually exists  Undecided

in chris's version he doesn't exist at all, apart the initial phrase: "we don't know where barry is..."

so...since the canonic version is jill's one, this means that wesker used barry for his personal purposes, by menacing him to kill his family. The big question is this: Why Barry disappears in umbrella chronicles?  Undecided

This new game helped us to find out many old secrets, or many aspects never shown (like richard teaming up with rebecca before the bite).

why barry isn't there and jill teams up with chris? Instead in re1 she teams up with barry, and he saves her life more than once  Undecided

why I have the sensation that capcom is doing whatever it's in its power to eliminate this character?  Undecided

do you think re5 is gonna reveal what happened to barry after re1? he saved jill with a helicopter, sure, but why jill went to russia with chris only and not with barry?  Undecided

it is said that they went to russia, chris, jill, barry and rebecca...why then they're not together there?  Undecided

hope to find out what's wrong with barry, 'cause he's not that old, a 49 years old man can kick asses, that's for sure  Cool

back on topic I was thinking about something, someone on capcom's forum said that Barry is too old for a new mission, well, I don't think so.

Here are the examples that came to my mind:

MARK WILKINS (resident evil outbreak, he's a vietnam's veteran, and he's 63 years old  Cool I actually kicked many asses using him, and I completed many missions in outbreak file 1 and 2 using him, my fav character after kevin Wink )

BOB, TONY (RPD dog trainer), AUSTIN and many others, very old but bad ass veterans that (as BARRY  Angry ) are able to kick....

and to continue, go to google and find out by yourself how many re characters are old and bad ass  Grin
I want Barry in re5!  Angry

and since it was said that we're going to discover more on S.T.A.R.S. end, I guess we'll know what happened to him, or better, we'll see him again, even taking out chris from there with an helicopter like in re3  Cheesy
